About Me

Maureen Collins, photographer, writer and advocate for the most marginalised people on earth.

“The aim of my work is to help restore people’s dignity by using words and images to tell their personal stories. For whatever reason, many individuals are unable to speak for themselves. These insights are intended to be uplifting but thought provoking and showcasing the enduring human spirit unveiled in the face of adversity. By exposing injustices of the past and present, I hope to inspire people to become advocates for change. To help create a better future for everyone, while maintaining a most important facet of life – hope.”
